I don't know if there's a pattern to any of it, but... better to know the similarities. See if there's a pattern somewhere. There's obviously different locations and events.
After our fight a portal similar to the ones we had seen all over the subspace we had been in opened, bringing us back. Other than the small doll we all found upon our person, we did not receive anything else.
